Hello Las Cruces,

The big event this last week was the Solar Storm and the Northern Lights that was seen all across most of the USA. Check out the incredible photos taken locally by two of the best local photographers in our Social Scene Section. If you aren’t following them you are missing out!

The Picacho Art in the Garden Tour attracted over 400 visitors at some of the houses on the tour. We enjoyed seeing the art and landscaping. Such a warm and welcoming event. Great Job guys! I posted more photos here.

This Wednesday is the 1st Night Market of the year for the Farmers & Crafts Market starting at 5 pm and running till 9 pm.

Going Topless - Its a Jeep thing!

It’s National Jeep Going Topless Day on Saturday the 19th at Elephant Butte Lake. We are talking about Jeeps with no tops not what you are thinking 🙂 Check it out in Events Below.

The Sinkhole Update

Looks like they raised the just over the $5000 original amount and are now working on $10,000. The City says the homeowners are responsible for repairing the damage from the sink hole since it is on private property. A Gofundme was created for the Moore family, to donate click here.  

The New Mexico Wine Festival is coming up for Memorial Day weekend May 25-27 so plan ahead and get your ticket early.
