Hey got something for you, honestly I don't eat at many fast food chains so we stick to local restaurants. We have had really good pizza's at Valley Pizza over on Picacho but one day decided to get a sandwich. It was a green chile rueben and WOW it was delicious. Just the right amount of meat, sauerkraut and chile. The but is fresh made and made with no seed oils. I like that and it's rare to find.

Valley Pizza is absolutely at the top of our list for sandwiches in Las Cruces and I highly recommend them... dang I shouldn't have done this now I will have to wait in a longer line. 😀

Just kidding you really should give them a try. Great Service and awesome food.

I'm Charlie. I put together the Local Events and Live Music emails you already get.

I started this so we'd have a place to talk between issues, not just a list of events landing in your inbox.

I'll go first: We moved to Las Cruces around 2013 after living in Trinidad CO for 20 years selling mountain property. We loved the mountains and Colorado but started to feel the need for more amenities.

Every time we got a chance to get away we seemed to gravitate towards New Mexico... Santa fe or Taos as we love the architecture. So when it came time to relocate after researching we decided that Las Cruces had the cost of living, weather and amenities that we were looking for.

I've been covering Las Cruces events now since April 2024 and sharing them with our subscribers 3 days a week so that you know about what is a happening around town.

Honestly I got frustrated with social media and you know what I mean. If you are like me you check Facebook and Instagram daily and somehow cool local events only show up in your feed after they already happened.

How does that happen? Beats me but it happens still. So I set out to do something about it with the Live Love Las Cruces newsletter.
