Mix & Mingle Oct 25th
Join us at Madelyn's on Sunday October 25th from 11 am - 2 pm for a Mix & Mingle.
We have had these meet and greets a few times and hope to have more of them now that the weather is better. This is where we just have a relaxing get together to meet and make new friends and Dinner Club attendees can reconnect.
The local band Continuous Sky will be playing from 11 am - 2pm and if you haven't had the pleasure to listen to them you are in for a special treat. They are known for their dreamy fusion and layered soundscapes, this crew creates a continuous texture of musical layers and slow-moving harmonies that pull you in and let you breathe.
Plan on having lunch, a snack or desert, a glass of wine with your friends as Madelyn's has a great menu.

We visited Wu's Asian Bistro
We thought that we would give Wu's Asian Buffet a try and went there on a Wednesday afternoon about 5:30pm and it was busy and got even busier while we were there.
I don't think they have enough parking as busy as they are. The restaurant is dark and I have seen a number of reviews where people used the light on their phone to read the menu. They do keep it dark.
We enjoyed our meals and feel they will get better after they find their stride. If you have tried Wu's share your experience.
Next Dinner Club is on Oct 14th in Mesilla

First We Bombed New Mexico - Sunday Sept 27th Showing - Fountain Theatre
First We Bombed New Mexico is the untold story of Trinity, the world’s first nuclear bomb, detonated in New Mexico one month before Hiroshima.
It is a story of government betrayal with tragic consequences, when the U.S. secretly bombed its own citizens.
Thousands of New Mexicans, mostly Hispanic and Native American, were exposed to catastrophic levels of radioactive fallout.
They were never warned, never acknowledged, and never helped. Generations of cancers followed.
