This Event is tonight Friday Sept 6th from 5-7 pm this event helps NMSU students to apply their classroom knowledge. This is their first event of the semester.

The School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management at NMSU offers students valuable hands-on experience through public events like 100 West Café lunches, International Dinner Series, and TAP Happy Hours.

These events allow students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, developing crucial skills in menu planning, food preparation, customer service, and event management.

By interacting with actual customers, students gain confidence, improve their communication abilities, and learn to handle the pressures of the hospitality industry, enhancing their employability and preparing them for successful careers in the field. Directions

The big annual Iris sale is happening this weekend on Sat & Sun the 7th and 8th and is put on by the Mesilla Valley Iris Society at the Mesilla Valley Mall. These are proven growers in the Las Cruces climate. Got to love those beautiful Iris in your gardens! Time to add more beautiful flowers to your yards. More Info
