The historic Rio Grande Theatre is launching the First Friday Open Mic Series, opening its stage to local performers on the first Friday of every month starting in 2026.

Created to support local art and “Great Resilience,” the series gives musicians, poets, comedians, and storytellers a professional stage in a high-quality acoustic setting and welcoming atmosphere.

Open to all ages. Performer sign ups open at 5:00pm. Piano and drum kit available for use, full PA provided.
