White Sands & The Local Economy Benefits
In 2023, White Sands National Park attracted nearly 730,000 visitors, who spent $44.5 million in the Las Cruces area.
This spending supported 595 local jobs and contributed $53.4 million to the regional economy.
This influx of visitors boosted the local tourism sector, particularly benefiting lodging and dining businesses, and underscores the park's role as a key driver of economic growth in the region. Read more
