Season’s greetings from Live Love Las Cruces. So thankful for a community that loves local, shows up to support events and businesses, and keeps Las Cruces feeling like home—can’t wait to see what we create together in 2026.

Several Las Cruces neighborhoods have standout Christmas light displays this year, especially around Mesilla. Mesilla Park has multiple decorated streets, including Raleigh Road, Canterbury Arc, Los Nogales Drive, and Mimosa Lane. Other bright spots around town include Capri Road, Royal Drive off Foothills, Tierra del Sol off Valley, High Street off Missouri, Lucerne Way, Egyptian Street off Carver, Conway Avenue, plus the Plaza de Las Cruces area, the NMSU campus around Noche de Luminarias, and Doña Ana Road.

One of our readers shared yesterday “Not really a suggestion but wondering if there’s ever any music at these places during the day? I can’t really drive at night very well and I’m sure there’s others also. But I love music and seeing the different bands! I’m ok in the summer, but miss out a lot in winter. Just a thought. Thanks!”

Hey I totally understand and I hear you. Actually many local venues have music earlier in the day. Check out the events by NM Vintage, Madelyn’s, Rio Grande Winery, The Bean at Josefina’s, Zin Valley Vineyards, Sombra Antigua, Icebox Beer Garden and Sparky’s in Hatch.

I list the times of each event so you can easily narrow it down to the daytime live music events that appeal to you. Thanks for supporting the local musicians!
