What a great way to spend a day enjoying the end of the year! Spend a thrilling day exploring scenic off-road trails and ancient footprints at Prehistoric Trackways National Monument with the NM Trail Hogs crew.

Riding with NM Trail Hogs feels like being part of an off‑roading family, where friends spot each other through obstacles, share skills, and take pride in leaving the trails better than they found them.

New wheelers are welcomed, mentored, and supported every step of the way so they can gain confidence while practicing safe, responsible trail etiquette.

The Mesilla Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization is seeking a local resident to serve as a bicycle community representative on its Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Advisory Committee, which helps guide improvements to bike and pedestrian infrastructure in the region.

The volunteer role is open to anyone living within the MPO’s planning area who cares about bicycling, safety, and connectivity, and is willing to attend regular meetings and participate in working groups.

Applications are being accepted through February 2, 2026, with candidates asked to submit a letter of interest describing their experience and reasons for wanting to serve. More Info
