Dinner Club

Whether you are new to town or just want to meet new friends check out our fun new Live Love Las Cruces Dinner Club.

Six people. One table. Next Dinner Club is Thursday, February 26th at 6:00 PM.

How it works: Take our quiz and we'll match you with five people who either mirror your energy or totally flip your perspective (you pick).

The fun: Your restaurant stays under wraps until that morning.

After Dinner: Halfway through dinner, we'll text everyone a spot nearby to keep vibes going if you want. You can decide.

Here's the deal: Just $16 locks in your seat. You handle your own check, while we orchestrate the rest.

Perfect for: New residents or long-time locals looking to have great conversations and meet new friends in Las Cruces.

New Restaurant - La Jefa

Last week, I visited the new restaurant La Jefa at NMSU, and it was excellent. The owners, Jorge Covarrubias and Magdalena Covarrubias, along with their son Jorge Covarrubias, are wonderful. Just look at those smiles!

The food was absolutely delicious, and their prices are among the most affordable in town. Hailing from Guadalajara, they prepare everything fresh using family recipes. I will definitely return!

They wanted to share a special discount for our readers: If you mention that Charlie with Live Love Las Cruces sent you, they will provide a free cucumber agua fresca and 20% off your first visit. Menu

They are located at 940 College Avenue, Las Cruces, NM 88001, in Gerald Thomas Hall. Note: If you do not have an NMSU parking sticker, park on Knox Street behind Knox Hall. Here is a screenshot.

This could become your next favorite lunch spot! Visit La Jefa soon and tell them Charlie sent you.

El Pastor Torta $8.99

Rolled Taquitos $6.99
