My name is Cristal Hidalgo, owner of Desert Gypsy Dog Wash in Doña Ana. I created my business with one goal in mind: providing calm, one-on-one dog bathing with no kennels and no chaos. As the owner of a reactive Blue Heeler, I understand how stressful traditional grooming environments can be. That’s why every appointment is private — just your dog and me.

I have worked at six boarding facilities since I was 15, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Dogs have always been a part of my life. Over the years, I discovered that bathing and de-shedding dogs is what I truly enjoy — helping them feel clean and comfortable .

At Desert Gypsy, I provide private, appointment-only bathing services including de-shedding treatments, paw pad trims, ear cleaning, nail clipping, and small sanitary trims. My goal is simple: happy dogs, satisfied owners, and an stress-free experience.
