Hello {{First Name|Las Cruces}},
Change in Venue
Las Cruces Chief of Police Jeremy Story is being honored Friday, July 10, as an America 250 Hometown Hero. The ceremony has been moved due to "unforeseen circumstances" to the Rio Grande Theatre. The original 10 a.m. start time is being pushed back to allow time for attendees to make the trip to the theatre from city council chambers.
Finally — something to do at 10:30pm on a Saturday night
If you've ever felt like Las Cruces rolls up the sidewalk after dark, the Mesilla Valley Film Society just fixed that. Night School is a new late-night film series at Fountain Theatre (right off Mesilla Plaza) running Saturday nights through August — think cult classics, horror gems, and underrated oddities that actually deserve to be seen on the big screen.
$8. Saturdays at 10:30 pm. This is the community spirit of cinema. https://mesillavalleyfilm.org/night-school/

📍 Own a Las Cruces business?
Real talk: 10,000+ locals open this newsletter for exactly one reason — to figure out where to spend their money in Las Cruces. Restaurants, dentists, HVAC, you name it. More than half of them open every single issue (most email lists would kill for a third of that).
I keep ad space deliberately scarce — just a few slots per issue, one business per category — so the folks who get in actually get noticed. A couple of those slots just opened up.
If you've been lighting money on fire with Facebook ads, consider this your sign.
That's the tea for this issue!
Share this with the friend who always bails on plans — maybe this is the one that finally gets them off the couch. No promises, but we're trying 🙂
