ART ON THE RANGE
Step into a true Western evening under the Las Cruces sky at Art on the Range, the inaugural juried Western art show opening Saturday, October 17, from 5–9 p.m. at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum.
Browse more than 60 original works celebrating the landscapes, ranching life, wildlife, and spirit of the American West—many by Southern New Mexico artists—while artists compete in a plein air painting challenge against the desert backdrop.
Cap the night with a chuckwagon dinner under the stars, live “high desert cosmic Americana” from The Consequences, Western bingo, campfire stories, and a cash bar, with proceeds supporting the museum’s mission to preserve New Mexico’s agricultural heritage.
Location: New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum
Event Date: October 17th
Time: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
