Local Events on Tuesday & Friday @ 6am
Live Music on Thursday @ 1pm

TOGETHER WITH FEATURED PARTNER

Hey {{First Name|Las Cruces}}, check out these awesome live music events for this first week in December.

Let’s get started with this special event by Valley Sessions.

7 Musicians - One Concert - This Saturday

Ryan Robson with Valley Sessions is hosting a special concert for Las Cruces Music Lovers, the 3rd Annual Valley Sessions Music Festival this Saturday December 06th at The Hood. The door opens at 2 pm and the show starts at 3:30 pm.

  • The McCharmlys (Los Angeles) – surf rock.

  • Velvet Penny (Los Angeles) – progressive rock.

  • Papaya Con Chile (Las Cruces) – Spanish punk.

  • Bar Jay Bar (Wyoming) – country folk.

  • Era Snow (Las Cruces) – singer-songwriter.

  • Darien Lane (Oregon) – vintage folk.

  • Pete Posie (Arizona) – country folk

I personally have not met Ryan but I was immediately drawn to his creative video talents. Ryan has this rare talent for crafting moody, cinematic music videos that make local artists look and feel like they’re on a world-class stage.

Ryan is a NMSU alumni with a degree in Creative Media and Film with a focus on Directing, Screenwriting, and Production Design. Check out his inspiring work on Youtube.

Tickets are $20 and includes your choice of a meal option from WannabeFarms Food Truck.

When you buy a ticket to Valley Sessions at The Hood, you’re not just catching seven incredible touring bands in your backyard—you’re helping grow a homegrown Las Cruces music tradition that artists can’t wait to come back to.

NM Vintage: With numerous wines, beers, plus select NM-distilled spirits, we bring the state's best libations to one location.

Note: Always confirm with the venue as there could be changes in their schedule. If I know the artists genre I will share it, some I don’t know.

Featured Partner: Madelyn’s in Mesilla

Madelyn’s is the place to be this weekend!  No need to worry about the cold—our main patio is partially enclosed and filled with heaters, making it warm, cozy, and comfortable for everyone.

Mesilla’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting is happening December 5th in the plaza, and Madelyn’s is right there in the heart of it all—directly across from La Posta and the Fountain Theater. It’s the perfect spot to stop in before or after the festivities.

We’re also proud to share that Madelyn’s was recently awarded BEST New Bar in The Bulletin’s Best!

We can’t wait to welcome you this weekend. Hope to see you soon!
