In Las Cruces, live music events occur frequently across a range of venues and platforms, yet they are often dispersed among disparate sources such as local websites, social media announcements.

Each week I search and compile as many live music events as I can find so that I can share them with you. If you have any friends who might also like to know about the local music scene please share our newsletter with them.

Adam Gaffney, a singer-songwriter based out of St. Louis, MO will be at Pecan Grill & Brewery on Saturday, January 24, at 7pm.

Adam specializes in original Americana, country, and folk-rock music, skillfully combining his own compositions with thoughtfully selected covers. He has conducted tours at both regional and national levels, performing in distinguished venues such as Pete’s Candy Store in New York City, Mercury Lounge in Tulsa, Central Saloon in Seattle, Ruffed Up Duck in Laramie, and the Newport Folk Festival in 2023.

"This tour is intended to promote my forthcoming record, which is planned for release as singles from January through March."

Local favorite, Sage Gentlewing, and his newly formed trio “Sage Gentlewing and Runaway Train”.

The trio consists of Sage Gentlewing (vocals/guitar), Mark Mathias (drums), and Derek Jorgenson (bass).

With decades of musical experience spanning the San Francisco music scene of the ’60s to today’s New Mexico stages, the band blends heartfelt originals with classic covers from legends like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones for a sound that’s both nostalgic and fresh.
