Proud Sponsor of Live Love Las Cruces

Hello {{First Name|Las Cruces}},

Every day, I count my blessings that we call Las Cruces home.

Since moving here, we haven’t gotten out and made the connections we probably should have—just like so many of you. We’re total homebodies 🙂, but since starting this newsletter, we’ve been pushing ourselves to get out more.

It sounds funny coming from the guy who publishes a local events newsletter, doesn’t it? But since launching the Dinner Club, I’ve been so pleasantly surprised by how many of you have been brave enough to step out and share a meal with people you’ve never met before.

What I’ve seen is that real connections are happening. People are finding new friends they have so much in common with. So many of us moved here from somewhere else, and we all have stories to tell and share. And one of the things that’s really warmed my heart is seeing so many tables agree to meet again to keep those friendships going.

If you’ve been feeling like something is missing in your life—real connections—I invite you to come to one of our Dinner Club or Meet and Greet events. If you have been sitting on the fence take the chance, step out, and meet some new people… you might just find yourself planning the next dinner with your new Las Cruces friends.

There is still time to get a seat at our next Dinner Club this Thursday but signup ends today at 6 pm. Come join us!

A Love Note from a Subscriber

“I just wish to thank you again for this fantastic newsletter. Because of it, we have found free music concerts at NMSU. Previous to your newsletter, we were unaware that they had these performances so we really appreciate all the information.”

Thanks, Toni for sharing!

We’re proud to share this issue’s sponsor: Aggie Carpet Cleaning

Aggie Carpet Cleaning also offers tile and grout cleaning/sealing that makes tired tile floors look like new again!

Tired of dark, dingy grout that never looks clean no matter how hard you scrub? We deep-clean your tile and grout to pull out desert dust, spills, and built‑up grime, then apply a protective sealant that keeps it brighter, longer and easier to maintain.

Locally owned and fully insured, we use pro-grade, gentle methods backed by a real satisfaction guarantee. While we’re there, you can also schedule carpet, upholstery, rug, and pet urine removal services for a whole‑home refresh in one visit.

Ready for grout lines that finally match your tiles again? Call today and mention this ad for special pricing on grout cleaning and sealing.

Hidden Gem in Mesilla: TruArt of the Earth

Every once in a while you walk into a place and immediately think, “How have I not been coming here for years?” That was my reaction at TruArt of the Earth, a crystal and mineral shop tucked just off the Mesilla Plaza on Calle de San Albino, just across the street from the main entrance to La Posta.

The space is floor‑to‑ceiling sparkle: high‑quality crystals, minerals, and fossils, from pocket‑friendly tumbled stones to jaw‑dropping collector pieces you could design a whole room around. There’s jewelry, polished and raw stones, sage, candles, art, books, and even a “crack your own geode” station that makes you feel like a kid again.

Additionally they also offer several energy services to enhance your spiritual journey. Sessions include Crystal Bowl Sound Bath Guided Meditations, Crystal Light Bed Therapy, PandoraStar Deep Trance Machine, and Tuning Fork Chakra Balancing.

What distinguishes TruArt of the Earth is the expertise of its owners. Both Jose & Shauna have extensive experience and education in using crystals and other objects for healing work. Shoppers can expect knowledgeable guidance on the spiritual and energy healing properties of inventory.
