Mesilla’s Diez y Seis de Septiembre Parade is Saturday, September 12 at 10 am — folklórico skirts spinning, decorated cars, kids waving off floats, bands, and a plaza already sliding into fiesta mode.

Biggest sale yet: about 400 freshly dug irises, including the entire Farm & Ranch Museum collection after it switched to native plants. Standouts include early-blooming Arilbreds with desert iris heritage and compact Standard Dwarf Bearded irises that stay about 16 inches tall and kick off spring.

You are going to see a lot of ads online for this event this week but it has been rescheduled for October 16th-18th. Not sure what prompted the change but they haven’t done a very good job of removing the incorrect ads so don’t be fooled. More Info
